The city council has persevered through another year of challenges as a result of state aid reductions. Historically the city has maintained a strong financial position, which has allowed the city council to continue providing the essential services to the residents of Howard Lake, and has placed the city in a strong financial position as we continue to move forward through these uncertain times.

The local economy has been a focus for the city council this past year as we see small town business continue to struggle.

For many years Howard Lake has shown great pride in amateur baseball through the Howard Lake Orphans.

The council is dedicated to the residents and businesses of Howard Lake, and we will strive to continue providing opportunities to allow Howard Lake to grow responsibly.
